Mary Shaw and David Garlan Make IEEE Software Top-35 List

To celebrate their 25th anniversary, IEEE Software's has collected a Top Picks list of 35 articles. Three papers by Mary Shaw and David Garlan have been included in this collection, in recognition of the paper's great impact.

The two papers written by Mary Shaw were "Prospects for an Engineering Discipline of Software" and "The Golden Age of Software Architecture". She co-authored the second article with Paul Clements, of CMU's Software Engineering Institute.

The paper written by David Garlan was "Architectural Mismatch: Why Reuse Is So Hard", which he co-authored with two CMU graduates, Robert Allen and John Ockerbloom.
